Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst provides advanced financial support and conducts high-level analysis of revenue, expenses, and overhead, while working with Regional management to make critical decisions about investment funding, expense management, and provide accurate and data-based information on our profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitors highly advanced key financial performance measures by analyzing financial data while considering company goals and financial standing.Understands the software systems used in the billing of CRS to enable efficient billing processes and ability to locate information upon request of the customer and/or other departments.Creates and presents Proformas when requested by managers to analyze profitability before, during and after the initial set up of accounts.Guides and assists divisions with large account billing and reporting to decrease the chance of inaccuracy.Reports, analyzes and interprets highly complex financial and operating data for the assigned area, including cost analysis, market niche reporting profitability analysis, regional geographic performance assessment, pricing analysis, cost-volume-process analysis and any other analysis pertaining to the interest of management.Assists as needed in preparing budgets and reviews to ensure accuracy.Participates the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan, including division specific modeling, graphic presentation of both operating and financial data to enhance management’s ability to plan and monitor the key factors that management uses to track performance.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.Education, Experience & QualificationsThe successful candidate will have an associate’s degree in finance, a minimum of 3-5 years of business experience or equivalent experience, a history of succeeding in collaborative environments, and be legally eligible to work in the US. A bachelor’s degree and experience or interest in an environmental and/or sustainability field is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, analytical and formal presentation skills, and strong interpersonal, strategic selling and negotiation skills are required. Demonstrated sales results, and a track record of success, an ability to qualify, develop and manage business opportunities, and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications are expected.
