Job Summary

　　As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within our organization. This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional who can analyze complex financial data, generate meaningful insights, and provide strategic recommendations to support key business objectives.

　　The Financial Analyst Intern will report to the Financial Analyst of Atlas Oil and expected to work 15-30 hours per week. We are flexible in scheduling hours around class schedules.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to assess the company’s financial health and performance.

　　Maintain internal databases; gather and maintain company and performance data across multiple sources and databases.

　　Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports for Management and Senior Operational roles highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

　　Assist in the preparation of presentations for Executive Management.

　　Play a key role in analysis of investment opportunities and capital expenditures utilizing Net Present Value, Discounted Cash Flow, Internal Rate of Return and distribution waterfall structures.

　　Build out in-depth financial and market analysis about industries, companies and assets.

　　Requirements:

　　Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.

　　PowerBI and database management experience a plus.

　　Ability to efficiently develop thorough analyses from the ground up and effectively communicate reasonable, accurate and defendable conclusions.

　　Excellent communication skills, collaborative and thrives in a high-energy, high impact environment

　　Location

　　In-office at our Houston, TX location. Remote work will be considered during the Spring 2024 semester for the right candidate, any opportunity to continue the internship through Summer 2024 will be required in-person.
