Description

　　The role supports Finance Managers in charge of APAC Fresh online supermarket business for both Japan and Singapore, focuses on improving and centralizing operational tasks such as creating business performance tracking report by collecting data from multiple data sources and provide key reasons for the gaps, or upload the financials to the system as it gets updated.

　　This position is for a contractor with 1 year contract with possibility of extension.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　-Collect data and input from multiple reports and counterpart across JP/SG for weekly, fill into monthly and quarterly business performance tracking reports.

　　-Check consistency/accuracy of the data

　　-Uses Excel, Word and Amazon internal tool

　　-Upload financials to the system as it gets updated.

　　-Develop ad hoc report (depending on capability and capacity)

　　-Conduct ad hoc analysis (depending on capability and capacity)

　　-Seek for automation and offshoring of the process to team in China/India

　　A day in the life

　　-Flex working schedule and preferred to be in the office during 10:00-15:00. Open for reduced days/hours flexible working style.

　　-Have once or twice of 1:1 with each manager to align on the tasks and priorities.

　　-Workload may vary due to Month End Closing, weekly/monthly business review etc but those are seasonal and able to anticipate/schedule in advance.

　　About the team

　　APAC Fresh Finance team comprises of JP Retail Finance Manager, SG Retail Finance Manager and JP/SG GP (3rd party) Finance Manager, as well as APAC Fresh Finance manager all located in Tokyo office. We partner with JP Fresh team located in Tokyo and SG Fresh team located in Singapore.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Word

　　Experience of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

　　Experience using data to influence business decisions

　　Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

　　English and Japanese communication skill

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　- - University bachelor degree
