The Financial Analyst in the IT Administration & Contract Management Team interprets financial and accounting concepts and information to support the IT Division's financial forecast and budget control, monthly chargebacks & billing processes. Make recommendations to management regarding cost-saving or profit-generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts. Assist in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.Education and Experience required:• Bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Math is required. • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a financial analysis role.• Experience with financial reporting and budget management, strongly preferred.• Experience with Excel at intermediate or Advanced level, strongly preferred.Knowledge and Skills:• Strong understanding of basic finance and accounting procedures.• Good understanding of basic audit management procedures. • Previous experience with financial systems (i.e. SAP, Prophix) is strongly preferred.• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Spanish and English.• Outstanding organization and time management skills.• Knowledge with Power BI is preferred.
