Prepare management and other internal reports and analyze financial data for assigned functions/ towers.
Primary Responsibilities * Assist Finance Business Partners in developing and executing strategies to help achieve the goals and objectives of the departments/towers.
* Participate in the development and completion of the annual business plan and re-forecast of the departments/towers supported
* Provide consultation to support the completion of the tower's annual business plans, including completion of the expense budgeting process, to ensure accurate and timely completion
Ensure compliance with existing policies, procedures and relevant regulations/legislations
Adhere to formal communication process with internal clients at all times
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
Assist the Finance business partners in the budgeting and annual planning process
Design reporting tools and templates to improve data analysis presentation
* Detailed analysis and presentation of financial reports
* Assist in the financial analysis of feasibility of projects as well as benefits realized from key initiatives
* Monitor, manage, and advise internal clients of budget-related issues or any activities that may have financial impact
* Together with the Finance Business Partners, Interact regularly with internal clients for management reporting and expense analysis and initiatives benefits monitoring, reconciliation and reporting.
* Produce ad hoc financial reports and analyses on a timely, accurate and consistent basis as required
* Participate in the budget and planning process for the department or tower in conjunction with Business requirements
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual planning deliverables to support business outcomes
N/ARequired Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceRequired Experience * 5 years relevant experiencePreferred Competencies/Skills * Quantitative analysis and requisite software skills (e.g., above average Excel and PowerPoint, Hyperion and Oracle)
* Strong business partnering skills
* Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationships with senior management including an ability to challenge the status quo
* Ability to communicate with and explain financial concepts to non-finance people and influence key decision-makers
* Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employeesPreferred Knowledge * Knowledge of management accounting
* Industry trend awareness
* CPA or CMA/CIMA
* Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in related field preferred
