We are looking for a Finance Reporting Specialist to join our team in Antwerp.
Your Role
As a Reporting Specialist you are responsible for the planning, preparation and coordination of the financial statements for both internal (financial management, management committee and board of directors) and external users. You will work closely with the Reporting Manager and with Knowledge Team in Poland. You will be a successor for the Reporting Manager who will go on retirement in 2 years time.
Your Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation of the periodic managementreporting and the financial statements.
Analyse the providedfigures and perform a critical and detailed check.
Prepare the periodicmanagement reporting and you contribute to further streamlining of thereporting process.
You are the point of contact for an external auditortogether with Tax/Reporting Manager as well as for controllers and the finance department.
Prepare the target of the functional units
Translation of IFRS Group Reporting standards to Belgium GAAP.
Assist the Tax Manager with preparing the annual accounts for 5 companies
Prepare figures and minutes for workers councils.
Prepare the new bookkeeping year (set up accruals for monthly provision and set up allocation of cost centers)

Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting.
Relevant experience (3-10 years) in a similar role.
MS Office and IT skills: advanced MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel;
Excellent knowledge of (national and international) VAT rules
Pro-active approach, can-do attitude, team player.
Excellent communication skills and service mindset; enthusiastic team player with a flexible mindset that can work independently. You have a great sense of responsibility and accountability and are open-minded towards performance improvement and problem solving.
Punctual and organized with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English.
