About Finance Project Accounting Business Analysis Associate

  The Strategic Accounting Infrastructure and Control (SAIC) Team is responsible for the analysis and execution of financial accounting architecture changes, supporting Financial Control, Asset Class Control, and Product Control.

  As a Strategic Finance Program Management Associate in SAIC team, you will partner with various stakeholder across multiple regions to deliver project objectives throughout multiple phases including requirements documentation, functional analysis, and testing. You will have opportunities to leverage your product knowledge, problem solving ability, and accounting expertise to partner with finance, tech, ops for the project ranges from production uplifts / remediation's, Industry / Line of Business (LOB) initiatives.

  We are looking for Senior Associate to support the Impact Sub ledger fixed Income trading system for the North America Activity. Flexible working arrangements available.

  Job responsibilities:

  Providing finance project support for Impact sub ledger system and involvement with small to large scale initiatives with Impact

  Liaise with various stakeholders (Finance, Ops, Corporate Accounting Policy) across the firm to ensure the accounting requirements are addressed according to US GAAP

  Work closely with Technology during the development phase to ensure build meets finance requirements

  Work closely with Operations to identify inconsistencies between Finance and Operations requirements.

  Write and execute UAT test cases; participate in E2E, production parallel and conversion testing

  Analyze controls to ensure the strategic infrastructure operates within a solid control environment- including identifying any opportunities for process and control improvements; Make certain the design meets Finance Principles and Big Rules established

  Liaise with PMO and assist with overall governance

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  Minimum 3 years finance or accounting experience

  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of stakeholders

  Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and ability to provide solutions

  Strong communication and presentation skills

  Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions

  Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, and manage multiple activities

  Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, functions), PowerPoint and Word

  Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  Knowledge of Impact sub ledger system is a plus but not required

  Knowledge of key Finance systems and processes, including MIS and GL

  Fixed income securities accounting experience preferred
