We would like to invite applications for the role of FP&A Manager (Treasury) at our Ridings Point offices (Castleford - West Yorkshire) OR Harlow offices (London). We have a hybrid approach to home working!
We are searching for a commercially experienced, dynamic and proactive finance manager/treasurer who can lead and partner across the business to deliver on a business-critical function. You will gain great exposure to many parts of the business in both UK&I and Europe and is a great platform for developing your career into either the treasury function or the broader Commercial Finance team.
Please note: this role is NOT a People Manager role. You will be an individual contributor to the team (stand-alone role, though much information is provided by the wider Finance team).
A day in the life of...
You will act as a key player in the local UK&I Finance team, partnering closely with the broader EU Treasury function including technical and transactional responsibilities - primarily focused on Treasury cashflow forecasting (receivables and payables), Cash management to ensure liquidity and optimization of cash, inter Co funding and banking, approvals and reporting as well as working capital optimization. The role also includes more strategic and business partnering requirements and projects, and will be a solid foundation to future development into treasury or commercial finance partnering
You will serve as business partner to local finance and business colleagues for all treasury activities to achieve the business objectives as well as Teva's overarching Global Treasury goals.
You will be the Working Capital champion, working together with the Tax department to optimize tax, treasury and inter-company structures, Accounting Ledgers to optimize days payable and receivable, and Supply Chain to maintain appropriate levels of inventory.
You will pull together information from a variety of sources to create regular and accurate cashflow forecasts and produce reports and commentary for performance analysis, insight creation and decision making.
You will need to be commercially minded, working closely with Teva Finance, Accounting groups, Shared Services and the business to improve payment and collection processes, assist with compliance and possible fraud detection and understands how to manage risk and uncertainty with clear communication of assumptions.
You will be the local cash flow champion – collaborating with the local teams in UK&I to develop forecasts by understanding the nature and patterns of the business to be able to interrogate and challenge submissions and assumptions, developing relevant measurement and KPIs; guiding and training the finance and non-finance organizations on relevant policies and procedures that impact cash flow to ensure accurate forecasts and risk management.
You will partner closely with the country CFO and finance leadership team to support them in all business related topics, both treasury and non-treasury focused to ensure that we achieve our commercial objectives.
You will play an active role in promoting an advanced risk management culture, including: awareness of the various foreign exchange exposures, ensuring timely & accurate booking of FX exposures (performed by Accounting), and awareness of translation differences on cash.
You will work closely with the relevant regional treasury team (NA/EU/IM) and be involved in projects and initiatives led by Corporate as appropriate.
Who We Are Looking For...
Do you have...?
Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering (or similar)
Relevant Finance or Treasury certification (CTP, ACT, ACCA, CIMA) and/or MS degree or MBA
Relevant Finance partnering and Treasury and cash management experience/knowledge in a large company or banking institution (we are flexible with the sector)
Strong financial modelling skills in creating forecasts and variance analysis from a variety of sources
Understanding of financial analysis and metrics
Proficiency working with a TMS (Treasury Management System), Quantum/ SunGard preferred (but training will be provided)
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, able to combine information from a variety of sources
