Robert Half is actively recruiting for a strong Finance Consultant/ Fixed Assets for our large billion dollar publicly traded client. In this role, the consultant will focus on

fixed assets and CIP management. This includes knowledge of the full fixed assets lifecycle. In addition, the consultant will be responsible for analyzing large data sets in Excel and other BI Tools (Power BI), support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, assist in Benchmarking and Modeling using internal and external data to draw meaningful conclusions, maintain existing Dashboards and FP A Reporting tools, keep track of the division CIP accounts and works closely with the Central Accounting Group to ensure that projects are closed and the final assets are created in a timely manner, perform journal entries to ensure all Capital Expenditure costs are capitalized as needed. This opportunity is going to be located hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in Long Beach, CA.

Skills:

-Knowledge of SAP BPC ( must have)

-Prior Power BI experience ( must have)

-Experience with process automation

-High Volume and Large Company experience

-Experience working with Large Data sets in Excel (VLookups, Match)

-Strong Attention to Detail

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the Wholesale Distribution industry

• Proficient in Fixed Asset Accounting, including Fixed Asset Additions, Fixed Asset Depreciation, Fixed Asset Inventory, and Fixed Asset Ledger

• Demonstrated experience in Fixed Asset Management

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting

• Ability to perform Complex Financial Analysis

• Strong Data Analysis skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.

-SAP BPC and Power BI proficiency
