  Schedule: Compressed Shift 8am - 6pm with on call weekends

  Pay: $25 - $27 hourly

  Location: Chandler, AZ

  The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  Support the installation of new tooling and equipment.

  Provide documentation and accurate record logging of work performed.

  Provide maintenance and support of equipment throughout the fab

  Train other employees on equipment and processes as required.

  Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robot controllers, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.

  Diagnose and repair units using factory manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

  Respond to on-call support request for production equipment as needed within 4 hours of receiving phone call.

  Conduct basic path programming with teach pendant.

  Perform I/O testing during commissioning of equipment.

  Coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions.

  Requirements:

  Ability to use basic hand tools.

  Must be willing to travel to Singapore for training. 

  1+ years of related experience, or comparable experience

  Ability to ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques.

  Ability to follow troubleshooting guide to test and diagnose equipment.

  Ability to set breakpoints and step through C# codes to identify faults.

  Ability to walk through trouble faults and determine path of correction with engineers overseas as needed.

  Ability to work an on-call schedule and respond when required within 4 hours of being contacted.

  Excellent customer interface skills

  Ability to work in a clean room environment.

  Able to work independently, with little direction.

  Mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to use appropriate tools.

  Ability to read and understand factory manuals and diagrams.

  Preferred: 

  Associates or higher in Mechanical engineering.

  Proficient in C, C#, Python, or other programming languages

  Prior work experience installing or maintaining tools and equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
