  Position Description

  At a Glance

  Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Manager to join the WattStopper Team in Richardson, TX.

  What Will You Do?

  Role:Responsible for managing the execution of Commercial Field Services for the division, including overseeing the teams that serve customers through project startup and commissioning, project warranty and Planned Service Agreements. This includes supervision of Regional Legrand Field Service Supervisors, Regional Field Service Coordinators, and working closely with BCS Sales and Services teams.

  Organization:Team Lead competency model

  Main Interface:Internal – Services management, Sales management, BCS and LNA IT, Sales reps, Product Managers. External – agents, specifiers, engineers and contractors.

  Budget:Develops and manages the program budget

  Main Job Duties:

  Lead the Field Service Program, focused on driving productivity improvement, process efficiency, and providing excellent customer experience related to specific Field Service initiatives

  Proactively engage with internal and external customers to assess, clarify and validate service expectations

  Supervise support roles responsible for service schedules and logistics including work done on behalf of Legrand by Authorized Service Representatives and Authorized Service Providers.

  Supervise first level people managers, ensuring they direct their team on day to day activities. This includes goal setting, performance evaluation, coaching, and hiring team members.

  manage/department resources, managing customer escalations and negotiating resolutions for both employees and non-employees (Authorized Service Representatives and Authorized Service Providers).

  Track and report department performance statistics to drive continuous improvement and delivery of an exceptional products and/or services.

  Provide continuous evaluation of field service processes and procedures, and suggest improvements as identified

  Work closely with the Management Team to develop new service opportunities and offerings

  Qualifications

  Education:BS in business or related or equivalent education and experience.

  Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

  Experience:7+ years work experience in the lighting industry construction industry with electrical contracting and/or lighting controls or similar building technologies. 3+ year’s management experience supervising field service technicians. Project management experience strongly preferred.

  Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  · Requires a strong technical aptitude and problem solving skills.

  · Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes

  · Demonstrated to effectively manage direct employees as well as influence indirect contributors.

  · Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels of a business unit.

  · Must have exceptional organizational skills with a close attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to expertly handle multiple priorities, including ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work.

  · Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of common business and CRM tools
