JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: Field position requiring out of towntravel majority of the time. This position performs mechanical,electrical and/or controls/programming upgrades, modifications, repairs,maintenance, service, troubleshooting, startup, installation,supervision, audits, training, and support for packaging equipment. Thisincludes equipment manufactured by the AHC family of companies as wellas non AHC OEM equipment. Major Responsibilities: *Strong PLC(programable logic controller) knowledge and, in particular, all AB(Allen Bradley) platforms * Skilled in setting up and troubleshootingAB (Allen-Bradley) servo systems, demonstrating expertise in workingwith advanced motion control technology. * Strong foundation inelectrical work, including reading and interpreting electricalschematics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing panelwiring. * Proficiency in HMI (human-machine interface) programming,configuring, and operating user-friendly interfaces for industrialautomation systems. * Familiarity with safety light curtains,indicating an understanding of the use and integration of these devicesfor safeguarding personnel and machinery. * Knowledge of Safety Relaysand Safety Circuits, highlighting expertise in configuring andprogramming safety-related control systems. * Possessing goodmechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively use wrenches,showcasing competence in mechanical tasks and maintenance activities. *Previous experience in the packaging industry would be a strongadvantage, as it demonstrates familiarity with this sector\'s specificrequirements and challenges. * Experience with line controls would bebeneficial, indicating proficiency in controlling and managingproduction lines in an industrial setting. * Stay up to date onadministrative responsibilities, including maintaining internal servicerecords and manuals, customer service logs, accurate reporting (expensereports, project closure, timekeeping, etc.), and documenting work onService Reports * Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,highlighting proficiency in using these software tools fordocumentation, data analysis, and presentations.
