　　Our team is seeking an Fiber Technician Apprentice to support businessoperations in surrounding communities. If you are hard working, have apassion for problem solving and delivering a high level of customerservice, this opportunity may be for you!

　　We are looking for a student who is passionate about learning on the joband in the classroom! Our Apprenticeship program is a one yearcommitment where you will work full time at Ideatek and attend schoolpart time at an approved Kansas College. You will have the opportunityto take classes that will help you gain knowledge in various areas anddevelop skills to support your growth in this Apprenticeship position.Your education and books will be paid for and you will receive an hourlypay working for us. This program will start August 2024 (or sooner basedon the availability of the student) and end May 2025.

　　Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

　　Deliver fiber to the home installations and repairs

　　Ability to troubleshoot customer connection issues

　　Install and repair VOIP services - residential and business customers

　　Must be able to handle installations and repairs independently

　　Taking accurate splicing and field notes

　　Supporting project timelines, inspecting, designing and providingaccurate staking sheets for projects.

　　Provide an exceptional in-home/business experience to customers by beingfriendly, patient, efficient as well as knowledgeable of FTTP service,gateways and WiFi

　　Installing drops from the service terminal to the home or business

　　Qualifications

　　High School diploma or a current Senior that will be graduating withinthe year

　　Must possess and maintain a Valid Drivers License

　　Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

　　Ability to be on call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays

　　Ability to work both underground and aerial environments, climbingladders and or bucket truck

　　Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
