Summary: In a light manufacturing environment,complete all Work Order Processing (WOP) orders for the business. Ordersinclude adding value to stock components per custom drawings andspecifications from our customers. Type of work includes engraving,assembly, pre-fabrication, kitting, wire harness\', panel & enclosuremodifications, and any new business. Work includes using hand tools andcomputer programs to complete the work. Minimum Requirements High SchoolDiploma or equivalent required. Related experience (warehousing,production, material handling, assembly, etc) strongly preferred. Strongwritten and oral communication skills required. Must be able to liftand/or move 10 to 50 pounds at varying intervals. Essential Duties andResponsibilities Engrave signs and control switches to the customers\'specifications using computer aided programs. Oxidizing and painting.Process customer orders in a timely manner to meet the required datesand notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Maintain customer databasefor computer programs and documenting for repeat business. Qualityinspection, cleaning, labeling, packing, and bagging of product. Testingof assemblies and electronic work as required. Organize materials, keepwork area clean, and log and file orders. Assemble components perpictorials, drawings and/or specifications unique by work order. Kitstock components together per instructions and repackage. Use equipmentto bundle wire together. Strip wire ends, crimp or solder connectors tothe ends of wire. Precisely label ends of wire as required per drawings.Modify panels and enclosures using hand tools and CNC programs.
