Anticipated period of employment: from 04/01/2024 to 10/15/2024.

　　Three months of farm work experience is required.

　　Perform manual labor to harvest, grade, and pack cucumbers, peppers, squash, corn, and melons by hand. Use hand tools such as hoes, knives, shovels, and harvest baskets. Perform prolonged walking, standing, stooping, bending, and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. Perform work in extreme temperatures and inclement weather including extreme heat, cold, and/or rain for extensive periods of time. Three quarters of an average of 50 hours per week guaranteed. Tools, supplied and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside of commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier. See ETA 790 for a complete job description.

Workers should be fully apprised by their local employment office of the terms, conditions, and nature of employment prior to referral. Once the applicant has a copy of the job order they may apply directly to the employer by phone or email for an interview Monday-Friday 9am- 5pm.
