This position primarily serves as the tacticalleader of the product line Supplier Quality Engineers, and supports theVergennes manufacturing site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leads Supplier Quality Team in Vergennes addressing tactical day to dayissues including members from current supplier quality team.
Develops and leads implementation of solutions to nonconformities and tosatisfy quality issues raised by possible drawing, design and customerinputs.
Drives processes to identify and manage risk in product development,(PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, PPAP and Control Plans, etc.) with suppliers.
Directs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, developsrecommendations for corrective action for design problems for supplierproduced products & processes.
Coordinate cross-functionally to address supply base nonconformances anddevelop recovery plans.
Provides analysis of customer quality requirements against externalprocedures and processes to ensure compliance.
Leads onsite supplier audits/assessments (QMS, Manufacturing ProcessReviews, Measurement System Analysis, etc.).
Position will report directly to Senior Manager of Vergennes SupplierQuality.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal), must beable to quickly and concisely summarize complicated technical topics.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering orMathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations andminimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in arelated field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of adegree, 12 years of relevant experience
Previous Leadership experience
Previous professional experience of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102standards.
Experience conducting root cause investigations using a range of RootCause Analysis tools (Fault tree/ Cause and effect diagram/ fishbone /etc.)
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) oreligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Program and or technical project management experience
Experience with external customers
Aerospace industry experience
AS9145 / APQP / PPAP experience
Manufacturing experience in mechanical, electromechanical, and/orelectronic assemblies.
J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-620 experience
ASQ CQE / Six Sigma certifications
MRB experience
Must be able to travel 25-30% both national and international.
