Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Family Office CFO in San Francisco, California. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfill various responsibilities, such as advising on tax planning and tax reporting strategies, within the Finance industry. This role is based in a professional office environment and requires skills in Family Office operations, CPA qualifications, Annual Tax Provision, and Tax Planning Strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Advise on tax planning strategies to ensure efficient financial management.
• Provide guidance on tax reporting processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Leverage Family Office experience to manage financial operations and provide strategic recommendations.
• Utilize CPA qualifications to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and implement Annual Tax Provision strategies to optimize tax benefits.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Implement effective financial control systems to monitor the organization's performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and legislative changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Family Office operations and management is essential
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required
• Extensive knowledge of Annual Tax Provision preparation and analysis
• Proven experience in developing and implementing Tax Planning Strategies
• Ability to work 2 days per week
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
