Position Summary

CVS is recruiting for the Director of Store Brands Growth & Development. This leader will be responsible for managing the business needs including both P&L ownership and data & analytics support to the broader team. This includes the biggest brand in our retail stores, CVS Health Brand.The Director of Store Brands Growth & Development is a core role in delivering upon our ambitious growth plan for our store brand portfolio. This role reports to the Executive Director of Store Brands Growth & Innovation and works closely with other Executive Directors and Directors within merchandising. Your main goal is to deliver results by leading a team that will define merchandising strategies, manage financial outputs and analyze business data insights. You will be responsible for achieving all targets for sales, margin, penetration, and differentiation that will drive increased value for our customers and loyalty.Store Brands is a factor in differentiation and profitability for CVS Health and the ability to grow our business in meaningful ways will be visible at the highest levels. This is an important role for supporting our Enterprise goals as well as the needs of our customers.
Leading Business Management team responsible for all Store Brands financial management activities including:
P&L tracking & Insights
Forecast development
Mitigation identification and execution
Data & analytics outputs
Supporting the strategic growth of the store brands portfolio through strong cross-functional collaboration both within the store brands team and across the enterprise
Establishing innovative resources for identifying opportunities of growth and sharing powerful insights with cross-functional partners
Meeting or exceeding front store sales, margin and inventory targets for store brands
Partnering with key CVS Health enterprise colleague to ensure alignment of the goals and initiatives working alongside leaders in Merchandising, Inventory, Compliance, Store Design, Pricing, Marketing, Operations and Logistics
As a leader of a large team, you will be responsible to develop talent and cultivate high-performing, diverse and engaged teams
Required Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience in retail, CPG, health care or consulting with a strong background of the Retail/Consumer products industry, merchandising principles and customer experience.Preferred Qualifications
8+ years’ experience utilizing business analytics (IRI data analysis, ROI, P&L, financial scenario planning etc.) to build strong business cases.
Strong strategic and analytics skills with demonstrated ability to turn into actionable strategic frameworks and operational plans.
Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact.
Strong leadership skills with shown ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of retail growth drivers
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters or MBA preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
