We seek outstanding scientists who will establish a competitive extramurally funded research program that focuses on studies from an integrative molecular to systems physiology perspective.Areas of particular interest include cellular and molecular metabolism, cardiometabolism, cardiovascular and muscle, immunometabolism, and inflammation. Successful applicants will align with and further enrich the department's collective expertise and research interest in areas of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular systems, metabolism, inflammation, systems biology and exercise and muscle physiology, as well as computational biology.
