The Facilities Supervisor manages the Front Office at the SSC and supervises contractors and staff in the maintenance of the SSC building and grounds.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Building maintenance, office services, front desk duties, and office administration
Work with vendors and contractors to ensure proper maintenance of the building, scheduling and monitoring maintenance of utility systems, groundskeeping, and security, as well as maintaining other building maintenance tasks
Manage Office Assistant responsibilities such as mailroom services, printing services, office supplies, and conference room maintenance.
Manage a team of receptionists, front desk duties, answering phone calls ang greeting guests
Performs daily and weekly tasks related to mail processing, inventory management, breakroom and copy room maintenance
Other miscellaneous duties as needed
What You Need to Be Successful:
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication with
Team player that works effectively with all levels of Team Members, management, vendors, and applicants for employment
Ability to deal with stress and pressure under tight deadlines, while maintaining professionalism and decorum
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive data and information
Must be able to speak and understand English
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to occasionally work into the evening and on weekends
Ability to develop and mentor others
Preferred Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facility Management, or relevant experience
4+ years of progressive experience with facility management, shipping & receiving, and/or customer service.
2+ years’ contract handling experience
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
Physical Requirements:
Work is active within a professional office environment, including the grounds and parking lots
Must be able to climb and negotiate stairs and ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, bend, stoop, kneel, and twist
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift objects of up to 50 pounds above shoulder level
At times, may be required to work outside in the weather, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow
May be exposed to site hazards including but not limited to loud noises, bright lights, dust, chemicals and hazardous materials, office equipment, and machinery
