　　Thorough understanding of how the buildings operate by field surveys, building automation systems and review of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-protection drawings.

　　Shadow operating engineers performing preventative maintenance, special construction, and event-response tasks.

　　Work with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering lead to support the department's documentation and compliance requirements.

　　Identify opportunities to optimize resources, energy, and processes.
