This expansion provides us with a state-of-the-art facility that will support our goal of becoming the largest end mill manufacturer in the United States within five years.With this expansion comes the increased need for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team.The Facilities Coordinator position is a full-time, salary, exempt position. Salary will commensurate with experience. Please be sure to answer the job questions that are part of the application process for this position.The facilities coordinator oversees all aspects of building functions, access, security, custodial functions, and grounds maintenance, ensuring the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning facility maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities and janitorial staff. This is an on-site position working primarily Monday thru Friday, 8 hours per day. After hours or weekend hours, as needed to accomplish the responsibilities / duties of the position.The primary objectives of this role are:• Ensure that the facility is fully operational, with all utilities functioning properly.• Adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures.• Maintain facilities, equipment and building provisions as necessary to meet warranty and safety requirements.• Manage security of building in conjunction with IT and HR.• Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments.• Supervise facilities and janitorial staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors, as necessary.• Handle insurance contracts and vendor contracts,• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocols.Other responsibilities include:• Delegate cleaning and facilities maintenance responsibilities to team members• Schedule and supervisor maintenance repair work for facility and utilities.• Assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for proper security, cleanliness, and general conservation.• Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes.• Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.• Support maintenance and installment work as needed.Skills & Qualifications• Advanced mechanical and plumbing skills• Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems• Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks.• Excellent time management and multitasking skills• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles• Great leadership and problem-solving skills• Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Professional leadership experience• Strong procurement, negotiation, and contract skills.• Attention to detail.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:• 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent professional experience• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent professional experience necessary• Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) credential preferredPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:The Facilities Coordinator will work in various areas of the property, including both indoors and outdoors. In some areas there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts.
