By either purchasing new or used equipment and updating or modifying it to meet a specific scenario or purpose, Gingerich is able to construct task specific equipment that can out-perform many options available to the average contractor.To help facilitate this custom processes, Gingerich boasts a large fabrication facility.Our heated/air-conditioned facility has two bays with 65 high ceilings that allows us to get all of our equipment in side any time of year to do whatever modification needs to be done to accomplish a particular project.

　　While a few of our pieces may be become routine and remade, many of the pieces we make are one of a kind custom pieces. From custom trailers to mud cleaners to major drill rig modification, Gingerich will manufacturer anything required to accomplish a particular project.

　　As a Fabricator, it is your job to fabricate, fit, and weld pieces of metal into finished products in accordance with specifications and company requirements. This is an entry-level position designed to train an individual in the various aspects of welding and fabricating. It is your job to work as part of a two or more person team to perform shop tasks including: reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering plans, laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding metals into the desired design, and to inspect and test welds and equipment under the directions of the department head or project manager.Gingerich Well and Pump Service is willing to traincandidates for advancement. 　　TasksInterpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations

　　Clean and prepare parts before welding

　　Set up and operate welding and cutting equipment

　　Examine parts for defects

　　Measure parts for ensure conformance with specifications

　　Perform seam finishing, drilling, taping, and other minor machine functions

　　Remove any scale from weld areas

　　Assist with scheduling work load and recommend tooling needs to save time

　　Complete standard job sheets and task documentation as required

　　Maintain tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner

　　Perform other job duties as assigned

　　Job RequirementsReliable with good attendance history

　　Ability to lift 100 lbs

　　Mechanical aptitude

　　Pass a drug screen, background check, DOT physical, and back x-ray
