Immediate Hiring - Fabrication Laborer/machine operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Laborer to join our fabrication/finishing department. The ideal candidate will have a knack for using hand tools and power tools to create and finish fiberglass structures. This is an entry-level position where you will be trained to perform various tasks such as packing, crating, drilling holes, applying handles, and making angle cuts with chop saws.

Responsibilities

Pack and crate fiberglass products.

Drill holes and apply handles to products.

Seal ends of fiberglass products.

Make angle cuts using a chop saw.

Utilize nail guns, drills, and other hand tools.

Essential Skills

Ability to pass a tape measure test.

At least 3 months of experience in production, construction, or manufacturing (side work is acceptable).

At least 3 months of experience using hand tools and power tools (e.g., wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, tape measures, hammers, power drills, nail guns).

Additional Skills Qualifications

Mechanically inclined.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fiberglass manufacturing facility. Steel toe boots are required, and jeans and t-shirts are appropriate attire. The environment can be itchy and have a strong odor, though the facility is generally clean. You will work 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, with a rotating schedule of four days on and four days off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania Immediate hiring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
