As a Program Manager you will work with a team to offer families and individuals the opportunity to create and build financial assets to improve their financial wellbeing through the combination of innovative financial services and programs. You will also provide program management and program development overseeing operations of core community service areas, including: Financial Opportunity Center, Employment Services, and Customized Matched Savings Accounts. Position Requirements: 4 years relevant experience required, including experience in complex project management involving multiple stakeholders and working with people form diverse socio-economic situations in a program coordination environment. Bachelor's (BS or BA) degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with government contracts. Experience with and/or demonstrated respect and understanding of community organizing strategies and process, and a commitment to engaging community members in creating solutions to inequities. Very strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are essential. Personal creativity, initiative, flexibility, patience, maturity and creative problem-solving skills. Demonstrated interest and experience in racial/economic justice and other justice issues. Ability to and comfort with necessary ambiguity involved in advancing new models and approaches to change. A healthy understanding of and enthusiastic commitment to community collaborations. Computer skills including ability to use internet, MS Office products and multifaceted database applications. Knowledge of asset-building challenges and programs for diverse populations. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills when working with clients and community partners. Multi-lingual ability (spoken/written) in Spanish and/or Hmong language, desired.
