WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in our newly implementedJournal Entry Shared Services Team which is a key component of theAccounting Center of Excellence (\"ACE\"). The establishment of theShared Services is to support the advancement of TNCs goals: sharpeningour focus, strengthening our culture, and driving operationalexcellence. This role will have the opportunity to support organizationwide operational excellence through optimization of people, processes,systems, and compliance via performing and delivering core financeservices/workstreams in accounting. ACE sits within the central FinanceBusiness Unit (BU), which will allow for more standardized processes,creation of more efficiencies and synergy across the core financeservices/workstreams.Specifically, the Staff Accountant will executeresults in the new Shared Services Team of ACE, by providing specializedaccounting services at the business unit level. The role will partnerwith ACE leadership and liaise with BU finance staff to provide guidanceand financial support and process journal entries for businessunits.Position location is flexible within the United States.The StaffAccountant provides specialized services in processing journal entries,accounting or similar financial activities for a department or businessunit. They are an expert in their area of specialization. Theyadminister and maintain finance/accounting activities in accordance withTNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management.The Staff Accountant provides assistance to staff in their specialtyarea. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE Reviews and registers journal entries,interprets results of transactions and communicates necessary actionsneeded to comply with accounting standards and business procedures.Ensures TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legalrequirements are met. Reinforces consistency in the organization\ spolicies and procedures and provides support related to relevant field.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING
Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration orrelated field and 3 years\' related experience or equivalentcombination. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Experiencewith GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Experience using automated accounting systems.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSMulti-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated.Accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organization skills. Non-profitaccounting experience. Service orientation and ability to effectivelycommunicate using a variety of media (e.g. email, Zoom, Skype forBusiness, Microsoft Teams, phone).
