Conducting facility safety and health assessments; developing/implementing training programs and curricula; investigating safety and health incidents; as well as reviewing and maintaining safety and health policies and programs. Providing training, direction, authorization of additional resources, and conducting evaluations and quality control checks. Aiding team members in the development, implementation, assessment, and follow up corrective actions associated with training, drills and tests, and incident response before, during, or after activities or incidents related to emergency response. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience applying safety and health principles; conducting and documenting on-site occupational health and safety investigations; performing administrative task(s) in support safety and health policies and programs; or experience designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and providing instructions for safety and occupational health training, education, and promotional campaigns. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
