  Job Summary:

  F135 Fleet Technical and Configuration Management leads execution of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) within the Program Office, ensuring Propulsion System readiness for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. We are seeking a qualified Logistics Engineer.

  As the Logistics Engineer for F135 Fleet Readiness, you will be responsible for implementing the Military Engines procedure for Fleet Readiness Excellence to: (1) Collect and Trend Fleet Data; (2) Analyze the Data and Forecast Demand; (3) Develop the Readiness Plan; (4) Communicate and Confirm the Plan; and (5) Execute the Plan.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify top degraders to Propulsion System readiness.

  Integrate Engineering & Logistics disciplines within the Supportability IPT (SuIPT) & Customer Service IPT (CSIPT) to develop root cause corrective action, to publish Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) inclusive of Retrofit Plans, and to implement Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs) or Service Bulletins (SBs)

  Project manage routine, emerging issue, and critical safety campaign implementation for Engineering Changes (ECs), Major Variance Requests (MVRs), Stop Delivery Orders (SDOs), Quality Notifications (QNs), and Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs)

  Execute Product Support Analysis and Health Reporting, Enact the Agile Operating System, and Engage cross-functionally to sustain F135 Fleet Readiness above 94%

  Applied knowledge of F-35 / F135 Sustainment Concept of Operations (CONOPs)

  Proficiency with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Technical Publications, Teamcenter and Enterprise / Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP)

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Business, Logistics or Project Management is preferred.

  A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Project, Manufacturing or Service Engineering required.

  The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Ability to take initiative and be strong problem-solvers with exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as being effective in driving results with both direct and indirect reporting relationships, working as the lead on cross-functional teams.

  Ability to establish credibility and respect with people at all levels of Pratt & Whitney.

  You are solution-oriented, with an ability to identify and understand performance as well as business impacts.

  Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

  The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
