Your Role

　　As an Export Dock Clerk, operational duties include coordination with shippers, truckers, and K+N offices for the export of shipments. The complete process of shipment includes arranging for pick-up or inland transportation, booking, document preparation (bill of lading, K+N invoicing, certificate of origin, export declaration and/or AES, if applicable) forwarding, follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination and data quality requirement. Initially, your schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and then will later transition to Monday - Thursday, 4:00 am - 2:30 pm once the site becomes fully operational. The wage is $22.50 per hour.

　　Your Responsibilities

　　Coordinate with shippers and truckers for the export of shipments

　　Process of shipment includes arranging for pick-up or inland transportation, booking and forwarding

　　Prepare document including bill of lading, invoicing, certificate of origin, export declaration or AES, and follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination

　　Maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings, services and carriers

　　Your Skills And Experiences

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　2+ years of experience in air freight or export shipping

　　Basic knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirements

　　Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries and major cities
