Principal Responsibilities
To perform all duties of an Expeditor for the company under the direction of Planner Production Control Specialist.
Specific work Duties/Essential Functions:
Performs in accordance with well established guidelines, necessary functions to assure scheduled completion of materials or parts in an assigned area or to estimate shortages in an assigned department.
Daily inventories of work centers
Cycle count support as needed
Acts in a liaison capacity between departments.
To assist in estimation of bottlenecks or heavy work load in any particular cost center.
Keeps well informed on where assigned parts are at all times, and reports to Planner Production Control Specialist.
Interprets and implements schedules as established by Planner Production Control Specialist.
May on occasion be assigned temporarily to a specific program or customer account for purposes of “Special Handling”.
Shipping/Receiving Support as needed
Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned
