The Boeing Company is seeking a range of experience levels for an Executive Transport Services and Support Associate or Mid-Level System Engineer . This position will be physically located in Oklahoma City, OK.
This is a hybrid position that may allow for some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. These positions will also be eligible for the OKC 9x80 alternate work schedule.
These unique roles require an understanding of engineering processes and the ability to communicate engineering requirements into a contractually sound technical baseline. The individual must be enthusiastic and hands-on in their approach and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some travel may be required, and may be for extended periods of time working away from the OKC location.
Position Responsibilities
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Systems Engineer Associate (Level 2)

Systems Engineer Mid-Level (Level 3)
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):
2+ years’ experience with Systems Engineering principles
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):
FAA Certification experience
Experience using CMPRo, REDARS, and basic Excel tools to help with metrics building and tracking
DOD clearance or the ability to obtain
Experience leading projects and initiatives across multiple functions
Experience leading design review presentations and presenting to multiple levels of an organization
2+ years’ experience developing supplier requirements (SSOWs, interface control documents, specification control documents)
Experience with RIO management
Experience applying Systems Engineering principals and Systems Integration in the Aerospace industry
Systems thinker capable of making engineering proposals based on data analysis and forecasting wide reaching and longer-term impacts
Typical Education / Experience :
(Associate Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Mid-Level Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: 75,650 -102,350
Summary pay range for Mid-Level Level 3: 90,950- 123,050
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Oklahoma City has a 9/80 work schedule. Every other Friday is an off day.
