Event Coordinator Job SummarySilver Branch Brewing Company is looking for a talented and self-motivated EventCoordinator to book, plan, and execute private and public events that consistently exceedguest expectations and create memorable experiences for attendees. A successful EventCoordinator will develop a sales pipeline for private event leads through a combination ofnetworking, sales outreach, and strategic marketing efforts. In addition to generating arobust private events business, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning,organizing, and promoting medium to large scale public events for Silver Branch beer fans.The chief responsibility of the Event Coordinator is to organize and manage private eventsranging from company happy hours to sit-down rehearsal dinners. The Event Coordinatormust excel at effectively planning and coordinating public events that generate greatertaproom attendance and create memorable experiences. The Event Coordinator will alsoseek to build business opportunities off-premises and work with our front-of-housemanagement team to grow brand loyalty at festivals, farmers markets, and other communitygatherings.The Event Coordinator must have strong organizational skills and use their attention todetail, logistical prowess, and management skills to make events flow seamlessly. A desire tofacilitate warm, fun, and inviting experiences for all Silver Branch guests is necessary to besuccessful in this position. In addition to managing all aspects of the private events business,the Event Coordinator will support front-of-house operations by directing the flow of serviceduring events, as consistent with the type of event, and sometimes work offsite events aspermitted by the events schedule. A demonstrated ability to flourish as a floor manager isessential for this role in addition to all other requirements. The Event Coordinator reports to the Executive Management Teamand works within the Marketing Department.Responsibilities? Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and clients.? Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs for a wide variety of events.? Plan event details and aspects, including floor plan, decor, lighting, music, etc.? Create reliable financial reports and collect payment on time.? Respond to all private event inquiries within 24 hours.? Maintain an accurate and comprehensive schedule for all events.? Work with Executive Management and Marketing teams to plan public events.? Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.? Plan for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event.? Remain within budget for decoration, music and other event budget areas.? Work with the Executive Management and Marketing teams to devise, formalizeand implement a plan to grow private events revenue stream, provide feedbackon plans, and show progress towards goals.? Book and execute $300,000 per taproom location from private events annually.? Effectively manage difficult situations with guests, employees, or otherwise? Support established systems and help design and implement new ones tocontinually maintain high levels of profitability in private events.? Attend offsite events in order to cultivate appreciation for the Silver Branch brandand engage with communities.? Identify and manage taproom events team in each business location.
