  The General Manager, Global Law Firm reports into the President of the Legal Professionals segment. The General Manager, Global Large Law Firms (GLLF) will manage a team of approximately 75 individuals (through 3 direct reports) and oversee a $750M business that is growing 10% annually. This leader is responsible for developing and expanding a diverse customer base of the largest law firms, across North America and Europe. This person will be a key member of the Legal Professional leadership team and will be based in either Toronto, New York City, Washington DC or Minneapolis. As a leader in Thomson Reuters, they will also be responsible for developing a team who promotes the company vision for a fully diverse and inclusive workplace. About the Role In this opportunity as General Manager, GLLF, you will: Be responsibility for top-line metrics (e.g., revenue, sales, retention) through customer engagement while managing costs/expenses Advocate for investment in market needs and for support from internal partner organizations across TR including Product, Technology, Strategy, Commercial Excellence and Order to Cash Define and execute on the sub-segment strategy and growth plan (tied into segment strategy) while meeting or exceeding the annual business plan Visible in the industry and especially with Large Law customers Need to embrace, manage and grow relationships with the C suite of large firms Partner closely with product marketing inbound and outbound activities for the sub-segment (i.e., market/customer insight, value proposition, customer segmentation, channel strategy, launch, etc.) Lead and drive customer focused and obsessed teams with market leading NPS and customer retention and growth Drive high performing, engaged workforce and world-class sales talent About You You're a fit for the role of GM, GLLF if your background includes: Meet or exceed sales, revenue, retention and annual expense plan Meet or exceed operational metrics Define strategy and growth plans (aligned to segment) including organic and inorganic growth opportunities Meet or exceed customer focused and experience metrics - NPS, retention, upsell, cross-sell Ensure team is operating in an agile manner focused around the customer Work closely with product and marketing teams to synthesize customer needs into high-impact product and services for customers (aligned to segment prioritization) Drive sales talent strategy including having world class talent, high engagement, high performing teams, strategic workforce plan tied to strategy Understand the external trends, opportunities, and market insights Advocate for our largest customers within Thomson Reuters and for Thomson Reuters withing the global large law firm legal community Balancing day to day objectives and results and long-term thinking; effective in prioritizing goals Able to influence and work cross functionally to achieve business segment deliverables Inclusive leadership style with a strong track record of recruiting, developing, retaining and motivating a high performing sales organization with a growth mindset Collaborative, relationship oriented across multiple levels and functions Problem solver and skilled at conflict resolution Customer centric and focused Strong, inclusive communicator Agile; ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity; embraces change Decisive especially when not all data is readily available Inspires trust and meaning for the team; purpose driven Exemplifies and promotes a global mindset across the team and Thomson Reuters Commitment to the wellbeing of the team and its members What's in it for You? Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $252,000 - $378,000. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
