It is vital he or she is professional, pays attentionto detail, and take pride in his or her work. BAE Janitors are dedicatedto providing the highest quality cleaning service. In addition, theJanitor has the following responsibilities: Perform general janitorialduties such as clean restrooms and empty trash. Follow safety proceduresincluding use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Understand andapply health and sanitization standards, follow safe waste disposalprocedures and use of cleaning solvents. Operate and maintain janitorialcleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, polishersand equipment carts. Maneuver heavy objects utilizing safe lifting andmoving techniques. Perform routine, repetitive actions such as sweepingand mopping floors. Use appropriate stain removal techniques incleaning. Recognize public safety hazards. Read and understandoperating, policy and procedure manuals. Attend monthly and departmenttraining meetings.
