Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Geriatric Physician to join our expanding geriatrics department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for the elderly population, a strong commitment to improving quality of life for seniors, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of elderly patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Develop and implement personalized care plans to address the unique healthcare needs of geriatric patients.
Provide primary care services to elderly individuals, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care interventions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and therapists, to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in geriatric medicine and contribute to the continuous improvement of geriatric services at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Geriatric Medicine.
