Description:
Looking for a heavy equipment mechanic. They service the following equipment; Emergency, Recycling, Snow Removal, Street Maintenance, Waste Water, Used Equipment, Vacuum Excavation. Basically all this equipment typically is a truck with some sort of lift, plow, etc... on it that is hydraulic/electrically powered and most of the job is going to be troubleshooting, repairing, completing diagnostics, and fixing this equipment.
Diagnostics: 20-30% of daily duties - They use Danfoss/Vanscope software
Electrical/Hydraulic: 60% of daily duties - Reading Schematics/Blueprints
This person will be working with hydraulics and pneumatic on a daily basis and will be performing diagnostics. They will also be welding every now and then if able to but they will mainly be doing hydraulic installs, body swaps, rebuilding truck flooring and doing electrical work within the truck.
Job Duties (Per company job description):
Performing basic and complex repairs on a variety of equipment including street sweepers, snow equipment, sewer equipment, trash haulers, debris collectors, and some semi trucks.
Daily diagnostics on this equipment
Hydraulic installs, Pneumatic work, electrical work, welding (Mig)
Basic testing knowledge of all machine systems
Assisting with Inventory Control
Completes Paperwork
Customer Interaction every now and then

Overall if the candidate is fres and they are sharp and have a good head on their shoulders, they will bring them in for an interview. If the candidate has previous experience working with this type of equipment, they will bring them in for an interview.
