The Evaluation Manager, Community Health will be responsible for:
Working collaboratively with Office of Community Health (OCH) team to identify and prioritize necessary evaluation projects across community health and partnership programs.
Designing program evaluation strategies and developing data collection tools for community programs in partnership with program managers and consultants supporting evaluation.
Analyzing, interpreting and reporting on data that is collected.
Engaging in problem solving to make any and all necessary adjustments to evaluation design.
Providing technical assistance to staff and community partners in evaluation methodologies and procedures as needed.
Writing reports, as needed, regarding outcome of needs assessments and program evaluation.
Working with OCH staff to develop, monitor and manage reporting dashboards as needed.
Working collaboratively with program managers (and program participants) in designing and conducting formative, process and outcome evaluation.
Working with program planners to revise their programs to focus their efforts on implementing the most effective strategies.
To qualify, you must have:
Work requires a working knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Master’s Degree in social science or public health and a minimum of three to four years of related experience.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong capacity for teamwork and collaboration.
Data analysis and data software (SAS, Stata or SPSS), PowerPoint.
Experience in evaluation design and use of protocols for community-based health promotion programs in low-income and underserved communities.
Experience with a wide range of quantitative data collection strategies, collecting and analyzing official records, qualitative research, survey methods, measurement of functional status and health outcomes, community participatory research, database management and data analysis.
