Job Title: Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator who will be responsible for analyzing project drawings and specifications to accurately estimate costs. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and utilize software tools such as Plan Swift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, and Microsoft Office for precise cost calculations. Responsibilities also include negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, developing detailed project proposals and bid packages, leading the pre-construction budget proposal, monitoring project progress to ensure cost control and adherence to budget constraints, and providing accurate and timely estimates for various construction projects.

Hard Skills

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field

Proven experience in construction estimating and project management

Commercial estimating experience (minimum 5 years)

Proficiency in Plan Swift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, Microsoft Office

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented

Strong negotiation skills

Effective collaboration

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lincoln, Nebraska.
