rResponsibilities
rThe GuthridgeLab{target="_blank"rel="noopener"} is seeking a Research Technician for the Biorepositorywhich supports our clinical and translational research investigators.
Candidates should be highly organized, motivated and team oriented.Duties will include all repository activities related to receipt,processing, storage, maintenance and records management of human bloodand tissue samples related to studies and clinical trials in a CAP(College of American Pathologists) certified facility. Individual willneed to be comfortable working in cold temperatures with appropriatepersonal safety protections and working with human samples.

rQualifications
rrrrBachelors degree typically in one of the biological sciences and/orequivalent years of relevant laboratory experience.Should haveexperience with lab techniques and using computers and databases.Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail,organizational skills and strong work ethic. Must be professional, teamoriented, and personable. Must be able to take direction, followinstructions and take meticulous records. Has an interest in helping inpatient-oriented clinical research.rrrr
