Your Growth OpportunityAs an Environmental Specialist I, you will assist with environmental services including field surveys, document writing and/or permitting to acquire environmental clearance for KLJ client projects.
Conduct environmental field surveys and environmental planning work under supervision of a project manager or task leadAssist with creating reports, documents, permits and other dataAccountable for following direction, meeting quality expectations, and timeliness of fieldwork and/or report documentation completion to meet client and company expectationsEnsure compliance with KLJ safety and quality standards Utilize effective written and oral communicationWhat You're Responsible ForDemonstrates an understanding of environmental concepts to complete basic tasks for storm water inspections.Follows specific instructions from direct supervision for field inspectionsMay attend meetings with senior staff either internally or externally with federal, state, and local agenciesEnsure proactive understanding of priorities on an ongoing basis.What You'll NeedFour-year degree in an environmental related fieldMust have a valid driver's license and be able to operate motorized vehiclesPreferences:

What else you need to know The salary for this position is expected to range between $21-28/hour. This estimated salary represents the middle of the range. Factors that may be used to determine actual salary include education (or applicable experience), training, job location, competencies relevant to the role, and internal equity.
