About Environmental Services Technician

　　ABOUT THE ROLE:

　　Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to ensure patient rooms, offices, hallways or other assigned areas of the hospital are sanitary and in attractive condition. Performs terminal cleaning of OR suites, sterile corridor and recovery. Collects laundry for pickup and delivery and responds to vendors delivering goods and supplies.

　　POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

　　Preferred Experience One year acute care experience.

　　Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent

　　Working Conditions May be exposed to hazardous chemicals

　　May be exposed to infectious waste including blood and body fluids

　　May be exposed to extremes in temperature/weather
