Description:
Primary Purpose
Provides waste management services to clients, including coordinating shipments, completing required paperwork for pick-ups, lab packing, conducting various facility inspections as required; performs sampling, evaluates and provides waste minimization opportunities; sets up brokering arrangements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Schedules and attends client meetings to keep client apprised of operations; prepares monthly reports for client detailing activities.
Performs business development activities; participates in presentations to prospective clients and internal management; may develop proposals.
Performs project management functions, including hiring contractor for site projects, securing permits, ensuring compliance and coordinating production.
May be responsible for project billing and cost tracking operations.
Responds as needed to provided technical assistance on emergency response calls.
Proficient in the MMS computer system.
Directs Field Chemist I, Field Chemist II and Sr. Field Chemist while performing on-site activities.
Responds to customer inquiries about company and company services.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Four year college degree or equivalent. Environmental Science major preferred.
Experience: One to two years experience in the hazardous waste management industry.
Knowledge and Abilities: Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services industry. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
