Aide/Attendant: (Full-time)

Hours: 3pm-11:30pm (Every other weekend)

Position duties will be varied, responsible for interaction with staff, patients and visitors, and meeting any EVS needs of those customers. Other duties will include as needed:

10 Step Cleaning Process:

Introduction

Pull trash

High Dust

Sanitize all horizontal and Patient contact surfaces

Spot clean vertical surfaces

Clean bathroom

Dust mop

Inspect work

Damp mop floor

Interact with patient

Discharges -Wipe rails, mattress, frame of bed, under head and foot of bed, under head and foot board, head and foot board and under mattress wipe pillows. Wipe inside and outside of drawers and sides of the table, ect.. Clean sink, toilet paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers, grab bar, sink faucets, and toilet flush handle, toilet cleaner in toilet and toilet strip on toilet, check supplies. Any other duties assigned

Floor Care and Other Duties - Auto scrubbing/dry mopping corridors. Burnishing patient rooms, corridors and waiting areas. Remove Clear/Red trash (when assigned). Moving hazardous waste to cooler (needle boxes, chemo waste, etc). Removing and retrieving patient beds. Cleaning of trash room floors (dry/wet mop). Replenish supplies, when needed. Pulling red/clear trash when needed or any other projects that need to be done

Projects- To include wall washing, carpet spotting, extraction, cubicle curtain changing, scrubbing, stripping and refinishing of floors. Also, moving of furniture. Sanitizing waste cans (red/clear), bed tables, linen hampers, and elevator doors

This Environmental Service Aide candidate will perform routine duties necessary to maintain the Crozer-Keystone Health System hospitals in a safe, sanitary and attractive condition. This candidate will be responsible for the general and specialized cleaning procedures to uphold the departmental quality standards. Requirements: *High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. *Must have the ability to read and write *Environmental Service experience preferred, but will receive on-the-job training *Will operate cleaning equipment
