We currently have a career opening for a Network Firewall Build Engineer in our Network Services department.
The EITSS Network Security Team is focused on designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining the Cardinal Health network securityinfrastructure.This team is responsible for the systems that provide access and protection of Cardinal Health’s network and devices in ourinfrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS or MS in EE) preferred.A minimum of 4-5 years of experience preferred.Experience working with F5 Big-IP Load Balancers preferred.
Proven firewall and load balancer experience, deployment, configuration, and management highly preferred
Experience working in projects as a build engineer in the network security spacePreferred But Not Required
Applicable technical certifications such as PCNSE, CCNAExperience with Ansible, Terraform, PythonExperience with WAF technologies such as F5 AWAF, Akamai, F5 Distributed Cloud.Experience with GCP, AWS or AzureResponsibilities
Demonstrates thorough understanding of networking concepts and systems including Routing and Switching.Demonstrates thorough understanding of SSL Inspection concepts, implementation and troubleshooting.Demonstrates experience working with Next-Gen Firewalls.Demonstrates experience working with F5 Big-IP Load Balancers and thorough understanding of LTM, ASM and APM.Demonstrates experience working with cloud service providers.Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.Demonstrates understanding of Network Segmentation.Investigates and resolves security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security.Searching and analyzing machine-generated data using Splunk.Applies comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities.What is expected of you and others at this level
