Aircraft Mechanic I shall possess the following Experience and Qualifications:

　　14 CFR Certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and have held for a minimum of 3 years.

　　Documented experience and/or experience showing the ability to rig, function test and troubleshoot general aviation small aircraft systems. Data to show this shall be in the form of training certificates an OJT (On the Job Training) records or other data acceptable to the government.

　　Documented experience and/or training in Pratt & Whitney (Canada) PT6A Engine – recommended, but not required.

　　Capable of performing all maintenance assigned including:

　　Interface with USFS personnel in a cooperative manner

　　Follow all Federal facility policies and procedures.

　　Perform proper techniques, methods of operation, and safety practices for aircraft and equipment used.

　　Work with the Lead Mechanic and USFS employees to resolve problems.
