Our Healthy Buildings International (HBI) by UL Asbestos Surveyor confidentially tests, inspects, and surveys a building (or an area of a building), quickly, efficiently during normal conditions and occupancy. Our Asbestos Surveyor is aware of the quality and environmental aspects of the company through the various procedures documents. He/she will ensure that the significant environmental impacts are reduced.

　　The functions undertaken on site are to:

　　Analyze the building construction and building operations

　　Utilize a relevant testing and sampling regime

　　Collect data and samples and collate all information in order that an objective and comprehensive report can be produced.

　　Support the client in managing asbestos in their properties to meet the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012).

　　After completion of the field works and when time allows, a Surveyor may also assist in the preparation of clients' reports.

　　Preparation for field works

　　Undertake field works and collect data comprehensively following the correct HBI by UL procedure and using the correct methods of data collection

　　Ensure that the environmental impacts of the company on site are controlled

　　Write client reports to a competent standard

　　Manage report production

　　Upkeep / calibration of HBI by UL test instruments and equipment

　　Manage office / site / working from home time to maximize productivity

　　Academic background in Engineering / Science and educated to college or degree level

　　Industry qualifications – P402

　　Sufficient knowledge and experience in: buildings and their materials

　　Sound understanding of all the test equipment and instruments used

　　Excellent skills in: team work, following directions from senior personnel, presenting a good image to clients and co-workers.

　　Good communication skills and an ability to handle sensitive or confidential information

　　Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel etc

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English language

　　Full UK Driving License
