Clinical Research Nurse I-Jameson and Horizon Medical CentersJob Summary

Evaluates patients qualification in research projects and subject groups. Schedules and conducts study visits. Collects clinical, laboratory, and patient data; processes lab specimens. Performs general laboratory duties and phlebotomy tasks. Ensures regulatory adherence.

Essential Functions

The initial training for this role will be held in Pittsburgh. Required to independently provide nursing care, identify and communicate the impact of the research process on patient care, and adjust interventions based on findings. Expected to report issues/variances promptly to the research team, administer research interventions, collect patient data according to protocol specifications, evaluate the patient response to therapy, and integrate evidence-based practice into nursing practice.

Physical Effort

Requires sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Travel between locations is required.
