Description:

　　Actalent's client is seeking a mid-level environmental engineer or scientist to work in either their Philadelphia, Lansdale, or South Jersey locations. Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years of experience on environmental remediation projects. Candidates will be on-site for the first few months or so and once established will have options to go hybrid upon internal discussions with managers.

　　Responsibilities

　　Overseeing project team, delegating to office and field staff, and executing day to day activities of projects

　　Conducting internal and client communications

　　Monitoring team performance for compliance with contractual agreements and budgets

　　Preparing proposals and reviewing/writing environmental reports

　　Resolving project contractual and financial issues (including terms of agreement, changes in scope, billing process)

　　Managing and mentoring staff of project-level scientists and engineers

　　Preparing technical design/analyses/calculations

　　Participating in meetings and agency consultation

　　Design of groundwater treatment, depressurization, and air-sparge/vapor extraction systems

　　Design of in-situ chemical oxidation remedies

　　Design of earthwork projects including support of excavation

　　Stormwater and erosion control design and permitting

　　Ability to travel locally and regionally

　　Skills:

　　Site remediation, site investigation, Environmental science, environmental engineering, proposals, reporting, Environmental complianceQualifications:

　　E.I.T or P.E

　　B.S in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, or related field

　　OSHA 40

　　Professional Licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey

　　5+ years of experience at consulting engineering firms and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations of Pennsylvania and New Jersey

　　Experience executing a wide range of environmental site investigation and site remediation projects

　　MGP and/or emerging contaminant investigation / remediation project experience a plus
