　　Basic Job Functions:

　　The environmental engineer is responsible for leading the safety andenvironmental compliance at the division. Duties and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to maintaining compliance with all safetyand environmental requirements; implementation and management ofenvironmental programs (air, water, waste) including permitting andreporting; education and training of the team; engaging with the plantwide team for solutions to problems and promote continual improvement;and participate in community outreach initiatives.Safety is the mostimportant part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must beable to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safetypolicies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at alltimes.

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Minimum of two years\' experience in environmental compliance,permitting and reporting.Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering orrelated field.Detailed Selection Criteria:

　　Project Management - Leverage knowledge to provide guidance andleadership to project teams and establish project steps, milestones,and timetables including analyzing feasibility, costs, andcompatibility with existing programs and systems.

　　Preferences:
