Description

　　Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for a talented and motivated Contracts Manager to support our healthcare technology efforts on contracting matters. In this role, you will partner with your clients to develop, market, and distribute cutting-edge products and services. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, and enjoy working hard, being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Draft and negotiate technology development statements of work (SOW) and other contracts on an as needed basis, including amendments and addenda to our master agreements and SOWs

　　Identify key risks/gaps in underlying contracts and recommend changes to mitigate risk

　　Respond promptly, accurately, and crisply with minimal supervision to business requests for legal advice and escalate appropriately where required

　　Develop and maintain: contract templates, training materials on contracting, confidentiality, company policies, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics

　　Support the continuous improvement of contract templates and processes impacting our legal team and the businesses we support

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree

　　3+ years of contracts management, transactional paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　4+ years' experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts

　　In-house contracts management experience is a plus

　　Strong written and oral communication skills

　　Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many simultaneous workstreams, clients, and projects under tight deadlines

　　Strong analytical and computer skills

　　Sound and practical business judgment as well as common sense, and a good sense of humor

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
